Plastic Variations

Alpha
Alpha is the plastic that our flight numbers are based on; It is a durable, smooth, high-quality blend that is slick and firm. Alpha comes in two weight ranges: 169 and below (typically 163 -166) and 170 and above. Weight ranges depend on the design of the disc and may vary.
Bravo
Bravo is flexible, gummy, and resilient, making it the perfect plastic for cold weather conditions or for extra grip. Bravo comes in two weight ranges: 169 and below (typically 163 -166) and 170 and above. Weight ranges depend on the design of the disc and may vary.
Lima
Lima is a lightweight plastic.
Lima is typically used by Juniors, Age Protected players, and those looking to gain extra distance by using a lighter weight plastic.
Lima max weight discs typically fall within the 150-160g range.
Alpha Glow
Glow plastic grip, feel, and stability is very similar to our Alpha blend but shines brightly when charged using a UV flashlight. The Lone Star Disc Glow blend is one of the best in the industry, lasting over a half an hour with a single charge.
Bravo Glow
Glow plastic grip, feel, and stability is very similar to our Bravo blend but shines brightly when charged using a UV flashlight. The Lone Star Disc Glow blend is one of the best in the industry, lasting over a half an hour with a single charge.
Victor 1(V1)
Victor 1 is a soft and ultra-tacky plastic famous for its ability to grab chains, limit ground play, and float in water.
V1 is widely considered to be our softest plastic blend.
Victor 2(V2)
Victor 2 is a stiffer blend than Victor 1 while maintaining the same tackiness.
It will maintain its shape while offering superior grip for putt and approach shots in any weather condition. V2 also floats in water.
Delta 1(D1)
Delta 1 is a base-feeling medium plastic blend that bridges the gap between our Alpha and Victor plastics.
It remains stiff while offering enough grip to maintain player confidence no matter the conditions.
Delta 2(D2)
Delta 2 is a stiffer, smoother blend of our Delta 1 plastic. While our D1 and D2 plastics have a similar feel to V1 and V2, they do not float in water.
Founder’s
Founder’s plastic is a translucent, metal-flake blend of plastic used exclusively for Tour Series and Special Event discs. This plastic is most similar in feel to our Alpha blend with an ounce of added stability.
Charlie
Charlie plastic is Founder’s plastic without the added metal flakes. It is translucent, slick, and stiff. In terms of stability, it falls between our Alpha and Founder’s blends. Charlie plastic is reserved for special events.
X-Outs
X-Outs are restocked randomly when production and stamping imperfections occur. We are unable to provide a timeline for when these will become available.
Shipping
We do not provide our own shipping service. As a result, our shipping costs directly reflect those of our primary carriers: UPS and USPS.
Our hardworking Shipping Team takes the weekends off. Therefore, all orders placed after hours on Friday will be processed the following Monday.
